About Me

As a freelance Development and DevOps consultant, I work on developing and operating software and infrastructure that runs reliably.

Focus areas: Software Engineering (TDD, unit and integration tests), Cloud-Native Technologies (cloud and on-premise), Automation (CI/CD), and Security (Zero Trust, encryption, vulnerability scanning, aligned with CVE/CVSS and NIST). I work with established, open, and portable technologies and follow their evolution closely. Comfortable with Scrum and SAFe, in feature teams as well as scaled setups.

Member of Codeberg e.V. since April 2025, the non-profit behind the Codeberg software development platform. Codeberg is a European alternative to commercial platforms like GitHub, championing digital sovereignty, privacy, and community-driven infrastructure.

Open-source projects of my own - a handful of Ansible roles on Galaxy, the early-stage ivly invoicing stack, and Chilly Willy Agent as a private Woodpecker runner for Codeberg CI - are listed on the Open Source page .
